PCB and Pepsi Joins Hands To Support To Edhi Foundation

Top news from the country – Pakistan Cricket Board recognizes the true effortss of Edhi and his well-reputed foundation and announces the foundation to be its charity partner for the coming years. Almost every individual living in Pakistan and many people living across the globe know what Edhi Foundation is and how much and how righteously it has served the nation. The man behind all the goodness, Mr. Abdul Sattar Edhi, never needs an introduction for the world knows him already. PCB charmain Sheheryar Khan said: “We feel honoured to associate ourselves with the work of such a great human being. PCB is cognizant of its responsibility to give back to the society and this is a continuation of our policy to support and promote such initiatives.”

Edhi’s logo will be sported on the national team kits for the England tour that is scheduled to commence in July this year.
On 17th of July, during the ceremony when PCB and Edhi joined hands, Mr. Jahanzaib Khan, Vice President of PepsiCo and their marketing manager, Salman Butt were also present to honour such an auspicious occasion. As a very healthy act of appreciation and generosity, PepsiCo highly acknowledged the kind services of Mr. Edhi and presented a cheques of Rs. 1 Million to the noble cause. The big cheque was collected by Saad Edhi, Trustee Edhi Foundation and grandson of Abdul Sattar Edhi.
PepsiCo has always engaged itself in such causes. While making real money, they also aim to facilitate nd contribute to improve lives of the people of Pakistan. Not to forget, their newly emerged campaign, Lighting Up Lives, revolves around the idea of helping the under-privileged people of Pakistan. This campaign sets out a way to donate 1 rupee for every 1.75L bottle of Pepsi bought by customers to light up the houses of the poor and needy all across Pakistan.
